"For people like me being creative is not a choice, but a necessity"

Trained as a classical musician, in 2016 a change was needed, I decided to quench my thirst for travel, new places, people, experiences, cultures. In the 4 years of roaming I discovered ceramics and at the end of 2020 I plunged myself seriously into the amazing world of clay, setting up my own pottery studio in Florence in May 2022.
Basically self taught, I love learning through doing so I invested hours and hours of throwing time on the wheel, honing and perfecting my technique, much time was also dedicated to studying the art of creating Glazes. Combining my aesthetic sense for simplicity, minimalism and my craftsmanship I design and create useful domestic objects, these contemporary ceramics are intended for everyday use and are entirely handmade by me.

A new challenge: recently I have been exploring a more sculptural side of ceramics using different hand-building techniques. The response from my Atelier in Florence has been fantastic. Tacchini furniture design adorned their Milan showroom with my pieces for the Salone del Mobile 2023 as well as Nature Design and Cierre 1972 for the 2024 edition. Marazzi Design and Valcucine have choose various pieces for their H.Q. Showroom in Sassuolo and Milano, as well as featuring them in this years catalogue as has Miniforms, Saba, Lenzi Home, Nature Design, Cierre 1972 and Guarnieri. An exciting creative avenue has opened for me in this stimulating world of working with clay.
