About

"For people like me, creativity is not a choice but a necessity"

Trained as a classical musician, I reached a turning point in 2016 when a change became essential. I set out to satisfy a deep desire for travel, discovering new places, people, cultures, and experiences. During four years of constant movement, I encountered ceramics, and by the end of 2020 I committed fully to the extraordinary world of clay. This journey led me to open my own pottery studio in Florence in May 2022.

Largely self-taught, I believe in learning through making. I have spent countless hours at the wheel, refining and perfecting my throwing technique, while dedicating equal time to the study and development of glazes. Guided by a strong sense of simplicity and minimalism, and rooted in craftsmanship, I design and create functional domestic objects. My contemporary ceramics are conceived for everyday use and are entirely handmade by me.

More recently, I have embraced a new challenge by exploring the sculptural side of ceramics through various hand-building techniques. The response from my atelier in Florence has been overwhelmingly positive. My work has been featured by Tacchini Furniture Design at their Milan showroom for Salone del Mobile 2023, and by Nature Design and Cierre 1972 for the 2024 edition. Marazzi Design and Valcucine have selected several pieces for their headquarters showrooms in Sassuolo and Milan, also featuring them in their current catalogues, alongside brands such as Miniforms, Saba, Lenzi Home, Nature Design, Cierre 1972, and Guarnieri.

This expanding creative path continues to open new and exciting possibilities within the ever-stimulating world of clay.
