PRIVATE WHEEL-THROWING WORKSHOP

What's included: low fire white clay, aprons, materials and tools, firings

One-to-one throwing classes for complete beginners and more experienced potters alike. Whether you're looking to step up to the potters wheel for the first time, or to improve on a particular skill.
Classes start promptly so please arrive on time, there are 10 minutes of cleaning allocated at the end of each class. If you'd like to fire your pieces, there is an extra cost per piece based on the size of it. Also if you would like to both throw and trim, please book two classes (a single class is throwing only).

HANDBUILDING COURSE

Duration: 5 classes of 2h, once a week

Max. number of participants: 7

Cost: €150

What's included: low fire white clay, colored slips, materials and tools, firings

A five-session handbuilding ceramics course designed for beginners of all ages. Each two-hour lesson introduces a different technique: pinch, coil, slab, wheel throwing, and kurinuki. The course offers a general overview of both forming and basic decorative methods, providing a solid introduction to the main approaches to ceramic modeling.

8-WEEKS WHEEL-THROWING COURSE

Duration: 8 classes of 2 hours, once a week

Max. number of participants: 3

Cost: €310

What's included: low fire white clay, materials, apron, tools, firings

A two-month wheel-throwing course meeting once a week, with two-hour lessons for beginner and intermediate students. The course also covers trimming and glazing techniques. In the first part, students will learn the basics of centering, throwing cylinders, open forms, and an introduction to closed forms. In the second half of the course, each student will develop a personal, achievable project to be completed during the remaining sessions.

MONTHLY MEMBERSHIP 

Duration: 20hrs per month

When: anytime during our opening hours

Cost: €200

What's included: working station, throwing-wheel, table use, tools

What's excluded: clay, glaze, firings

As a member of the atelier you will have free access to a throwing-wheel, work table and tools during the hours of your membership. Clays, glazes and firings will be provided by the atelier and are not included in the price. The registration is recommended for independent potters: if you want to put your skills into practice and make your own ceramics, this is the place for you!
