Raw Black Stoneware Serving Bowl

A centerpiece designed to bring the raw elegance of nature into the heart of the home. This generous serving bowl is hand-thrown in my Florence studio using a textured Black Stoneware, chosen for its deep, charcoal intensity and its structural strength.

The interior is coated with a self-produced Brown Matt glaze, a bespoke recipe that creates a soft, satin surface in warm, toasted tones. What makes this piece truly unique is the organic decoration that flows from the interior to the outer base: a series of fluid, earthy "trails" where the hazelnut glaze meets the raw black clay, reminiscent of natural erosion or ancient calligraphy.

With its substantial volume and wide, welcoming rim, this bowl is as functional as it is sculptural. It is perfectly suited as a sophisticated fruit bowl, a centerpiece for the dining table, or for serving shared meals during intimate gatherings.

Materials: High-fired Black Stoneware.
Glaze: Unique self-produced hazelnut matt glaze (food safe).
Dimensions: Approx. 11 cm height, 26 cm diameter.

Care: Hand-washing is recommended to preserve the intricate glaze transitions and the tactile quality of the raw clay.

Craftsmanship: Hand-thrown in Via Romana, Florence. Each bowl is a unique work of art, featuring one-of-a-kind glaze movements born from the fire of the kiln.
