Black Ridged Teapot - Wheel-thrown with Custom Matte Glaze

A celebration of form, texture, and the slower ritual of tea. This teapot is expertly wheel-thrown in my Florentine studio, featuring a series of meticulously applied, radiating vertical ridges that give the piece a dynamic, architectural rhythm and an incredible tactile quality when held.
It is finished in my own personally formulated matte brown glaze. This custom-created glaze gives the teapot a deep, natural, earth-toned hue and a soft, non-reflective finish that beautifully catches the light on the ridged surface.
The design is grounded by a rope-wrapped handle, providing a warm, tactile contrast to the ceramic and a comfortable, secure grip for pouring.
This is a fully functional piece, glazed with internal food-safe glaze.
