Raw Black Stoneware Cup
A dialogue between raw earth and refined surface. This hand-thrown cup is crafted from a deep, tectonic Black Stoneware, left unglazed on the lower part to celebrate the gritty, natural texture of the clay and its grounding touch.
The upper section is dipped in a unique, self-produced Brown Matt glaze. Developed in my Florence studio through careful research, this glaze offers a soft, satin finish that contrasts beautifully with the dark, charcoal body. The warm, earthy tones of the hazelnut transition into the black clay, creating a landscape of colors that is unique to every single firing.
Designed for those who appreciate the weight and presence of handmade ceramics, its proportions are tailored for a generous flat white, a long coffee, or a comforting tea ritual.
